Common questions
How do I subscribe or start the free trial?
Tap the gear at the top of the library, answer the grown-up question, and choose a plan. The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial. Little Red Riding Hood is free, and the first page of every other story can be previewed.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
In the grown-ups' area, tap Restore purchases. Sign in on the new device with the same Apple Account or Google account you bought with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
We can't cancel for you, because the store handles billing.
- iPhone/iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Pío → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Pío → Cancel.
You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Apple and Google process refunds. On Apple, go to reportaproblem.apple.com. On Google Play, open your order history and choose Request a refund.
What happens to my child's progress if the subscription ends?
Everything the child earned (words, stars, paintings, bookmarks) stays. Only stories outside the free ones lock again.
How do I delete my child's data?
In the grown-ups' area, under Children, you can remove one child. Delete all data erases every profile, all progress and all paintings from the device. Uninstalling the app does the same. Copies in your own iCloud or Google backups follow your backup settings. Because we don't keep accounts, there is nothing else stored with us under a name. See our Privacy Policy.
The story has no sound, or something looks wrong.
Check the device isn't on silent and the volume is up. Close and reopen the app. Make sure you have the latest version, and if a story fails to download, check your connection. If it still fails, email us the details above.
