Terms of Use
These terms are between you, the parent or guardian, and Hai Cohen, trading as Pío Team (“we”). By installing or using Pío you accept them. Apple users: Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
1. Who may use Pío
Pío is for children aged 3 to 7 together with a parent or guardian. You must be an adult to subscribe, change settings or accept these terms, and you are responsible for your child’s use.
2. Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Pío on devices you own or control, for non-commercial family use. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or extract the stories, art, music or voices, except where the law allows.
3. Subscriptions
- Pío offers a monthly and a yearly subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy. The yearly plan may include a 3-day free trial.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account at confirmation. If you cancel during a free trial before it ends, you are not charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your device’s subscription settings (see Support). Deleting the app does not cancel.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies and your local consumer law.
- Prices may change; the store will notify you as the law requires.
4. Content
The stories are our own retellings of traditional tales. The pictures, music and sounds are original to Pío, and the voices are created with AI. All rights in them belong to us or our licensors. Open-source fonts and software are listed on the Licences page in the grown-ups' area.
5. Availability and changes
We may update, add or remove stories and features. We try to keep Pío working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Liability
Pío is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
